POLICIES


CABINS:  

  • Refunds are not available. should you have to cancel your reservation, and more than 60 days’ notice is given, you will have 6 months to use the full amount of your deposit towards another reservation, (6 months notice for Christmas & New Years). Less than 60 days notice prior to arrival date, you are responsible for the FULL amount of rental.
  • 2 Night minimum stay all cabins.
  • 5 Night minimum for July & August for deluxe cabins.
  • 3 Night minimum for all long weekends and holidays.
  • 4 Night minimum stay Christmas/New Year’s; cabin’s half occupancy amount applies. Rate will be adjusted for additional guests.
  • Any change in the number of guests will change the rate quoted.
  • Any furniture moved must be put back before departure. Dishes must be washed and put away and cabin left tidy, or a minimum of $200.00 cleaning fee will be applied to the card of file.
  • The wood supplied at the cabins is strictly for inside stoves only. Campfire wood bundles can be purchased at the office before 4pm or you are more than welcome to bring your own wood. (Axes are not supplied)
  • Deposits are taken at the time of reservation
  • WE DO NOT ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS BY EMAIL. Cancellations must be verbally called into our office and addressed to a staff member.

Your reservation is a firm commitment once you are within our cancellation policy, and therefore no refunds will be given if you should decide to cancel or leave early.

CAMPING:

  • NO REFUNDS
  • Payment is processed in full at the time of reservation.
  • 1 tent and 1 vehicle per site.
  • NO HOOK-UPS, NO GENERATORS & NO PETS ALLOWED
  • Washrooms are available with flush toilets and pay showers ($1 Loonie coins).
  • Sani dump available with restrictions
  • A battery charging station is available

BOATS:

  • You are responsible for your full boat reservation.
  • A VISA or Mastercard is required when reserving a boat.
  • Waiver of responsibility must be filled out in order to reserve a boat.
  • A $200.00 charge will be applied to the credit card on file if there is any damage to the motors/props.
  • All boats will be stored away for the winter after Thanksgiving and will be unavailable.
  • A $20.00 cleaning fee will be applied to the credit card on file if there is any garbage, fish guts, hooks and fishing line left in the boats.

RESORT:

  • NO PETS ALLOWED—strictly enforced. You will be asked to leave for failure to comply. Inform your guests beforehand.
  • NO LOUD PARTIES—strictly enforced.
  • NO MUSIC—including instruments, car stereos, radios, etc. —strictly enforced.
  • DRONES—not permitted within resort property without permission from staff, due to privacy of guests.
  • ALL ATV AND MOTORCYCLE OWNERS—We have an unloading / loading / parking area. No ATVs or dirt bikes at cabins and no riding in camp —strictly enforced.
  • ALL SNOWMOBILE OWNERS—Please consider your neighboring cabins when coming and going. No riding in the camp—enforced. The office has reference maps available showing the trails and logging roads in our area.
  • ALL DAY VISITORS- must stop and register (NO PETS) at the office and pay a fee of $5.00 per person or fee will be added directly to your cabin account.
  • CHECK IN TIMES11 am check-out / 3 pm check-in. Please respect times. No check-ins after 10pm unless prearranged; Late check-in charge of $20.00 will apply.
  • FIRE PITS, AND PICNIC TABLES ARE REMOVED AFTER THANKSGIVING WEEKEND, and are therefore unavailable. A communal firepit is available by the lake and the firewood is for sale in the office before 4pm.
  • GARBAGE/RECYCLYING – Garbage and recycling must be put in the designated area behind the lodge office. If there is no specific bin for recycling, please be sure to bring it home with you. Garbage items that do not fit in the bins need to be taken home as well ( camping chairs, cots, ATV parts etc.)
  • FIRE BAN – In the event that a fire ban is implemented you can bring your own propane fire pit. Please be sure to bring your own propane tanks as we do not supply them.  

We currently do not take online reservations you must call our office at 1-866-371-2606 to make a reservation. Please review our cancellation policy and resort policies prior to making a reservation. Once a reservation is made Mile High Resort will email a confirmation that also has our cancellation policies stated as well.
